Perkins Thompson is pleased to welcome associates Shea Watson and J. I. Aisha Simon to the firm!
Shea graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law, where she served as a Teaching Fellow for criminal law and tort law. Following graduation, Shea clerked for Justice Joseph Jabar of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court before gaining litigation experience at two Portland firms. She was named a “Rising Star” in Civil Litigation by Super Lawyers from 2021 to 2023.
Aisha is a 2023 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, where she was the Immigration Fellow for her class and received the Immigration Law Award, the Pro Bono Publico Award, and the Faculty Award for Community Service. Following law school, Aisha clerked for Justice Julia Lipez on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court and for the Maine District Court in Augusta.
Shea and Aisha both joined Perkins Thompson in 2025 as associates in the firm’s Litigation practice group.
