Perkins Thompson is pleased to announce that Jacob F. Bowie has joined the firm as its newest shareholder. In addition to his duties as shareholder, he will work as a member of the firm’s Real Estate, Banking & Financial Services, Business & Corporate, and Construction Law practice groups. Prior to joining Perkins Thompson, Jake was a shareholder at another South Portland firm where he practiced in the same areas of law.

Jake received his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University. Jake is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, as well as the Cumberland Bar Association, where he is the Second Vice President. Jake is authorized to practice in Maine, Massachusetts, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine. He is recognized as a Rising Star in the area of Real Estate by Super Lawyers. In addition to his work at Perkins Thompson, Jake is a member of the Board of Directors for the Maine Fishermen’s Forum. A Yarmouth native, he lives in Portland with his wife and son, and spends his free time golfing, skiing, and enjoying the Maine summers on and around Casco Bay and the New Hampshire Lakes Region with friends and family.
