ABOUT Drew

Drew joined Perkins Thompson in 2023 as an associate in the firm’s Government Services, Land Use & Environmental Law, and Real Estate Law practice groups, where he assists individuals, developers, businesses, and municipalities on matters relating to planning, zoning, and environmental permitting, as well as the acquisition, financing, development, operation, leasing, and sale of commercial and residential real estate.

Drew graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law in 2023 with a Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Environmental & Oceans Law.  While at Maine Law, Drew was a member of the Environmental & Energy Law Society (EELS) and served as a Managing Editor of the Maine Law Review.  In his third year, his law review article about the viability of nuisance claims against grid-scale wind energy facilities in Maine was selected for publication.  Drew also interned in a municipal government’s land use and planning department and at a regional environmental non-profit and uses the insights he gained in those positions to better help clients achieve their objectives.

Drew currently lives in Gray, Maine, where he serves on the town’s Ordinance Advisory Committee.  In his free time, Drew likes to read, play music, explore New England’s beautiful natural environment, and check out new restaurants with his wife and friends.
